Setting up your GBP wallet on Africhange is fast and easy. Follow the single step below to get started.
Step 1: Generate Your GBP Wallet Details
On your Africhange home screen, tap “Generate Account Details” under the GBP Account is Live! banner.
You’ll be taken to the setup page where you can review the benefits of the GBP wallet. Check the agreement box and tap “Create GBP Bank Account.”
Once submitted, you’ll see a confirmation message letting you know that your GBP wallet creation has been successfully initiated.
After setup is complete, your account name, sort code, account number, and bank name (Griffin) will appear, ready for funding via UK bank transfer.
Note
- The final image is not an extra step; it shows that once your GBP wallet is created, “GBP Balance” will appear as a payment option on Africhange.
- Third-party deposits are not allowed with the Griffin Wallet. Such funds will be automatically refunded, and you will receive an email with the refund reference.
- A third party refers to any account that does not bear your name, including wallets on apps that may display your name but are not directly owned by you.
- If you have not received the refund, please share the refund reference or refund email with the sending party for follow-up.
